Buildings are usually consistent, in structure that is. Under new management, grand opening, for rent, and foreclosure signs will don their fronts cyclically as a reflection of market downturns, dreams realized, or hopes crushed.
A vision is lost, and a vision is gained, but the structure often remains unchanged. Those sturdy enough will endure this for generations and eventually house something of significance. Efficiency will ultimately be realized in their relocated metal clad successors, retiring them into history where they may be crowned with a plaque and a brochure filled information...
