The Pine Bluffs Hornets (4-6) hosted the Mitchell Tigers (10-7) last Tuesday. The Hornets coaches were quarantined so Coach Gray stepped in. They tried to postpone the game but Mitchells schedule was full so the game went on as scheduled. The Hornets played hard and tough but the Tigers were just a bit too much for them.
The first quarter was fair with Stuart Lerwick (So) leading the way with 2 field goals and a free throw. But the Hornets found themselves down 15-9 going into the second quarter. The offense rallied for13 points with Ty Sweeter (Jr) hitting 3 field goals. But the Tigers s...
