Last Friday the Lady Broncs hosted the Wheatland Lady Bulldogs at Broncs Corral. The Lady Broncs were eager to redeem themselves after the loss to Torrington last week. They put up a valiant effort but lost the heartbreaker to the Bulldogs by one point. The Bulldogs won the contest 45-44.
This was an up and down game. The first quarter belonged to the Broncs as they outscored the Bulldogs 10-5. Molly Mosley (Jr) led the Broncs with two field goals. Rylee Jo Ward (Jr) hit one of her 3 pointers this quarter. The next quarter though belonged to the Bulldogs as they made a n 11 to 7 run on the Broncs. The run was not enough as the Broncs lost to the Bulldogs 45-44.
Coach Ward had this to say after the game. "We had plenty of chances to win the game. We just didn't execute down the stretch. We let a winnable game slip away form us. We need to make more free throws."

Jaden Gipfert (Sr) sunk a 3 pointer and 2 field goals for 7 points. Sienna Gallegos (Fr) nailed 2 field goals and a free throw for 5 points. Molly Mosley (Jr) hit 2 field goals and A.
