Christmas comes with a lot of beautiful things to help celebrate the season. Christmas trees, ornaments, wreaths and lights. Again, one way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear! (Buddy the Elf) To accomplish this a group of dedicated ladies set out to go caroling. Last year it was so windy it was hard to even walk. But this year the Pine Bluffs United Methodist church had gotten a trailer and some hay bales. There were only six people but it sure was fun. The ladies knocked on doors to let people know they would be singing. Each stop was a couple of songs like Deck the Halls and Joy to the World. And if the people had a request the singers sang it. The fun of the smiling faces and joy of wishing Merry Christmas were great blessings. The night was chilly but the wind slowed down so the people could hear the singing. The plans for next year of caroling is all ready being talked about. The music and the smiles are what lights up the community. It's one of the things that makes Christmas so special.
