Pine Bluffs Post - Serving all of Eastern Laramie County since 1908

The mens varsity track and field team from Pine Bluffs traveled to the Okie Blanchard Invite track meet last Friday. The meet was held in Cheyenne and typical of Wyoming weather it was a blustery day. The Hornets gave their all and despite the north wind placed 9th over all.

The team did not have an athlete that finished in the top three but they did have eight that finished in the top 10. Dalton Schaefer finished 5th in the long jump at 20ft 1in and teammate Stuart Lerwick placed 10th with a jump of 19ft 2in. Schaefer also finished 7th in the pole vault reaching 11ft 3in in his vault.
