Bicyle Rodeo comes to Pine Bluffs

The bikes were lined up to show off their skills. On Thursday June 2nd at 10 a.m. the kids showed up at the Pine Bluffs Community Center parking lot for the annual Bicycle Rodeo. This event is for the youth to learn the rules of bicycling in town.

Pine Bluffs Police Chief Chance Walkama demonstrated how to use hand signals on a bike. This is an important way to inform other vehicles as to what you are doing at the time. He had the kids do this with him. Practice helps everyone. Chief Walkama showed three signals. First was the Left turn. This is when your left arm is straight out to the sid...
