One has to listen beyond the words, beyond facial expression and beyond body language to hear sometimes. Not only that, but sometimes one has to listen in a way as to overhear but you know, eavesdrop to hear and understand what someone has gone through or going through. All the changes a person makes after a tragic event such as war, sometimes turns someone into a different person. Thus was the case of Robert E. Kittrell upon his return home from Vietnam.
