Saturday the Hornets faced the number two seated Lingle-Ft Laramie Doggers in an in-conference game in Pine Bluffs. The Doggers with a 3-3 in-conference record were looking to better their record against the 5-0 Hornets. With an unbeaten record in conference play the Hornets were not about to let the number two seat gain any momentum heading into regionals. It was a close game with the Doggers coming close but not taking the lead.
