Royce Breeden is a local high school rodeo champion and now he has made his mark in the state. Breeden and his teammate placed third in the team roping competition. Breeden with his roping partner will be headed to nationals to test their skills against the best in the country.

Breeden is the header of the team, which means he throws first. His target is to rope the animal by the horns and his teammate must rope the two hind legs for it to be a complete event. If either one misses the game is a bust. Not to worry though they get more chances. The team with the lowest time is the winner.
