It is with honor and respect that the Donald Eisenhauer American Legion Post 60 of Pine Bluffs Color Guard (Honor Guard) leads out our nation's Flag at the beginning of parades.

Some have questioned why the Flag goes first, why not the police or grand marshal? After all it is a small town parade, some ask.

Parade Flag Etiquette: Everyone loves a parade. The floats, fire engines, bands and other community presentations make parades of all kinds a community celebration. In most cases, the participants in a parade are free to present themselves as they see fit - within the terms of the parade...
