Girl Wrestlers pin their way to the top

Nichole Sumare of the Burns/Pine Bluffs wrestling team took first place in her weight class last weekend. The team traveled to Lander, Wyoming to compete in the Lander Invite where they placed fourth out of 23 teams. Sumare took a little over a minute to pin her opponent,Angelina Bontadelli from Powell in the first round and just 3:08 seconds for her second win against Isabel Kuegeler from Riverton. In her final match against Alicia Dexter from Pinedale, Sumare was able to pin her opponent in 1:48 seconds to take top honors in the 145-weight class.
