    The first Monday in December is the celebration of Christmas at Home for the town of Pine Bluffs beginning with Open Houses for businesses. This started as a way for the town to promote businesses and get everyone in the town in the mood for the season.     The town Pine Bluffs was excited to get the Christmas Season on its way. The first Monday in December has been their annual celebration for years. It used to be downtown on Main Street.     C. Janeane, 91, of Pine Bluffs, died at Kimball Health services on Sunday, November 26, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the United Methodist Church in Pine Bluffs with Pastor JR Atkins officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Bluffs Cemetery.     The MRE's were lined up on the desk for the students to be ready to prepare. The Wyoming National Guard has challenged the Pine Bluffs Foods Class to be able to change an MRE (Meals Ready to Eat).     The Pine Bluffs Senior Center was packed with people on December 3rd. The Donald Eisenhauer American Legion Post 60 and Auxiliary Unit 60 held their annual Christmas Social.     The South East Wyoming Athletic Conference (SEWAC) held their annual wrestling championship tournament last weekend in Burns, Wyoming. There were five teams from the local area that competed in the tournament. Teams from Glenrock, Burns/Pine Bluffs, Lingle/Ft Laramie, Niobrara County and Southeast all sent their best junior high wrestlers to bid for the championship.     This was the 2nd Annual Tri-State Border War youth wrestling tournament in Pine Bluffs at the High School gym on Sunday December 3rd.  Wrestlers came from all over the area and there were over 270 kids in the open division and 48 in the Girls division that traveled from as far as Casper, Rawlins, Colorado Springs, and Sutherland, NE.  This was up from last years numbers of 208 in the open division and 15 in the girls division.
