Due to the cold front sweeping our area, the Veterans Day ceremony was held at the Louis E. Canady American Legion Post 60 on Tuesday. The ceremony was originally scheduled to be held at the Pine Bluffs Cemetery.

The ceremony began with Steve Miller, Post Commander, leading in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Miller went on to say, "We honor the memories of those that have gave their lives in the service of our country. And those others who have dropped their burdens by the wayside of life and have gone to their eternal rest. May the ceremonies of today deepen your reverence for our departed frien...
