Lady Broncs track team looks to improve

The Burns Lady Broncs ended last year placing 8th at the state meet, and fourth in both the 2A regional and SEWAC meets. Head Coach Brooks Hoffman, who has been coaching the girls at Burns for the past eight years, is looking for improvement this year with several state qualifiers returning to the track.

Seniors Tamara McCart, Jasmine McCart and Ashley Turner will be competing in distance, sprints and the shot put this year. Jasmine McCart placed fourth in the 4x400 at last year's state meet.
