The newly elected officer team is Lois Brennecke, President, Frontier FFA (Cheyenne); Seth Thiele, Vice President, Buffalo FFA; Jamie Hansen, 2nd Vice President, Snowy Range FFA (Laramie); Jaycie Arndt, 3rd Vice President Buffalo FFA; Averi Reynolds, Secretary, Casper FFA; Rebecca Weber, Treasurer, Shoshoni; Rachel Derner, Reporter, Burns FFA(standing, far right); Chaney Peterson, Sentinel, John B. Kendrick FFA (Sheridan); Chancy Templeton, Parliamentarian, Gillette FFA.
Another year and another convention has passed, and Rachel Derner, a senior at Burns Junior-Senior High School, is just getting started at the State FFA Reporter for 2015-2016.
Derner, who has been a member of FFA for the past six years said she loves being part of a group which promotes youth leadership, where she has has the opportunity to meet many people who have been involved in FFA and gone on to accomplish great things.
"The opportunities are endless. I've been to the national convention three times, and to Washington, D.C.," she said.
