    Although Cobblestone Hotel opened their doors on March 12, 2021 the hotel was forced to put all of their activities on hold due to the snow storm and events that followed.     Ashley Hottell guided another class of students through an elaborate painting activity. For Sadie's Cafe's monthly paint and sip activity Hottell decided a rainbow and flower painting would be the nights highlight. The activity was open to all ages, drinks and food were brought individually. To help with the mood music was playing softly in the background.     For this year's annual Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) state competition things were a little different but they still managed to have an in-person fun filled event. Usually state is a two-day event, students would attend two days of competition. At night they would generally have a dance or movie options or even team tourism activities.     Pine Bluffs Distilling had quite the colorful and eventful night. The paint party had three birthday parties hosted! The theme for the painting activity was cacti in bloom. Autumn Marshall instructed the class on how to start with the background. They used a faint pink color to begin with. Next they worked on the clouds and then moved to painting the desert sand.     James Huddart "Jim" Lee, 103, passed away December, 25, 2020 at his assisted living facility in Las Vegas, NV. Jim was born November 27, 1917 in Harrisburg, Nebraska. Three years later his family moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming and he attended school there. In 1937 Jim and his parents Clarence (C. M.) and Carrie, purchased the Pine Bluffs Post.     CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Governor Mark Gordon has announced the appointment of Jerry Vincent as Director of the Wyoming State Construction Department. He replaces Mel Muldrow, who will continue to serve as Administrator of the Construction Management Division.     CHEYENNE, Wyo. - The Wyoming State Museum unveiled a newly restored flag from the Spanish-American War on March 22, 2021 in Cheyenne, Wyo. Descendants of the soldiers from the 1st Wyoming Volunteer Infantry Battalion who served in the Spanish-American war in 1898 were in attendance at the small gathering.
