    Every year the Wyoming Centennial Farm & Ranch program honors families who owned and operated on the same farm or ranch for a hundred years or more at the Wyoming State fair. This year for Laramie County the honor went to Alice and Lance Theobald from Pine Bluffs. The farm is south on county road 164 in Pine Bluffs.   • Burns Town Council discusses progress on subdivision

    The progress on the Cripple Creek subdivision and the Rustic Plate hours change was announced at the Town Council meeting on October 10th at 6:30 p.m. There were two agenda regents requests. First was John Volk verifying lot sizes with the town on the new development. The council was fine with the sizes but look forward to the next stage with the engineer.     The Pine Bluffs High School students were sitting in the Pine Bluffs Historic gym. The Pine Bluffs National Honor Society had their induction ceremony at 9:00 a.m. on September 22, 2022. The David J. Souders Chapter 11081 of the National Honor Society teach skills to help the students develop to further their education with keeping up great grades and applying for scholarships.     The season for raising money with Bar Bucks for Laramie County Christmas Program has begun with fun and food at Mikes Saloon in Albiin. Fifty balloons were attached to the ceiling at Mike's Saloon in Albin where chili and cinnamon rolls were being served up to start raising buck bars.     The Pine Bluffs/Burns cross-country track team competed in their last regular season track meet in Cheyenne, Wyoming last Thursday.     The Pine Bluffs Lady Hornets volleyball team traveled to Wright, Wyoming to compete in two games against the Shoshoni Lady Wranglers and the Wright Lady Panthers.
