Pine Bluffs Donald Eisenhauer American Legion Auxiliary Unit 60 recently provided a hot meal with all the trimmings at the Cheyenne Discipleship Center, which services and gives support to many of Laramie County's homeless people. Katherine "Kate" Lynn Russell, 67, of Albin, Wyoming passed away on February 4, 2021. Kate was born December 28, 1953 in Portland, Oregon to James and Patricia (Mahoney) Morrison. Sometimes I think Wyoming is either feast or famine. This winter has actually been pretty good as far as the temperatures go. At least we haven't had a long stretch of sub-zero temperatures. Last Friday the Burns Broncs hosted the Saratoga Panthers at Broncs Gym. The 6-8 Broncs were looking to extend their winnings against the 9-2 Panthers but the Panthers proved to be a bit too much. This week we give a "shout out" to Reed Thompson of the Pine Bluffs Hornets varsity basketball team. Two weeks ago in the game against the Niobrara County Tigers Thompson hit a milestone in basketball stats by hitting his first triple double of the season. A triple double is when you score double digits in three of five categories, points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocked shots in a single game.
