    The minutes of the previous meeting were discussed at the December 18th Council Meeting. Items included the claims payroll, extending the hours for the Pine Bluffs Distilling on New Years Eve, the water tank project, and the sale of unused city vehicles. The hour extension on New Years Eve for the Pine Bluffs Distilling along side the Knotty Pine have been approved. The usual time of closure for these establishments is 1 a.m. however the times will be adjusted to 2 a.m.. The water tank project was also discussed during the meeting. It was... Full story

    The Cheyenne-Laramie County Health Department would like to report that five rabid skunks have been recently confirmed in the Northern rural areas of Weld County Colorado. Together with the eleven rabid animals; ten skunks and one bat since August 2017 in Laramie County we would like to send out this reminder for area residents.     Summer of 1963 changed the life of a small town Granite City, Illinois man. Lewis Laboray made a decision to leave his job as a Pin spotter mechanic to serve in the United States Marines.     The Pawnee Coyote lady's hosted Front Range Baptist Falcons from Ft Collins and lost 49-37. Coach Janelle Robinson stated, "We had a tough game against Front Range Baptist on Tuesday Dec 12. We came back within 12 points of tying the game but the time ran out. Shelby Hoffman had the most points with 19. Jaycie Hahn had 7 defensive rebounds as well as Erin Ellis with 6 defensive rebounds.     The Burns Broncs played hard during last weeks tournament at Lusk. The Broncs played a total of 3 games in the Lusk Tournament. During the game against Greybull the Broncs lost 36 to 42. In the 1st period Greybull pulled ahead 12 to 5. By the 2nd period, Greybull had continued to pull ahead with a score 23 to 15. 3rd period started a tough battle for the win. The Broncs ended the 3rd period with 29 points while Greybull had 31 points. Finally, in the 4th period Greybull took home the win with a total score of 42 to 36.   • Hornets take big win

    The Pine Bluffs Hornets played hard at their tournament this past weekend. During their first against the Wyoming Indians the Hornets won by 16 points. In the 1st period the hornets had a total of 19 points. Then in the 2nd period the Hornets had managed to score another 22 points bringing the score to 41 to 24. 3rd period is when they took a huge lead over the Wyoming Indians. With 8 seconds left in the period they left the score at 53 vs the Indians 35. Finally the game was finished with 71 points to 55, the Hornets bringing home another... Full story
